They used to be one of my faves. When I was younger I would blast their self-titled CD to let out some steam, get the engery going etc. Now though, I find some songs on that CD to be too heavy (arugh othe pitfalls of "old age" ). Actually, I think Saturn may be the only song that I don't find a bit on the heavy side. I love "Hey You..." though!

When it first came out I was very much against anything "techno" sounding, so it took a while to grow on me, but now I love it. Haven't heard "Invincible".

I miss some of their old stuff. I think their Collide cd was just a little to plain for my liking. sad.
I was thinking about their "My Hope" song yeterday, becuz it was 9/11 and they did a remix for 9/11 oh-so-long ago now. I think it still have a recording of it somewhere..?

I'm actually the other way around. I didn't like them until the heavy stuff. I guess my old age bug isn't working.

We'll see what the next one sounds like. I like them - the CD got kinda old fast.

I went to a Skillet concert at my church last Friday and I was a bit skeptical to begin, especially after the wonderful opening band Nevertheless. I admit though, I was pleased. I like "The best kept secret of my generation" song. They put on a great show, and share a great message. Especially to the 360+ kids that our church counted that are not connected with a church or a youth group. When they sang "Be Thou My Vision" I felt the presence of God. Great show!
