John said he wasn't releasing the Lava version of Collide to make money from people who already bought the Ardent version and he wasn't too happy that it happened the way it did...

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a good friend in a band that toured with Skillet for a while, and I had the opportunity to hang out with the guys (and gals) from Skillet. They are really down-to-earth, humble, and devoted to their kids...

I give them a lot of credit, the only thing that made me angry was how they re-released collide. Although open wounds is my all time favorite skillet song, they still should not have re-released an album just for that. But they are definitely a great band with very strong Faith.

There is a lot more to it than Skillet rereleasing a cd just to put a new song on it. That wasn't at all the case. The short version is that Ardent Records inhales like a vaccume. Because of them being greedy and not wanting to wait till Skillet was done finalizing their deal with Lava Records, there was a second version made under Lava.XxInFlamesxX said:
