CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

as old rooster says, it's on HBO. it's (loosely) about a family of undertakers; their adventures and dramas and whatnot. it's a very real show. normal people smoke pot, gay people are real characters (not just tokens), etc. Some would point to these things and wave fingers, but art is supposed to show truth. the show's creator is the same fellow who made the movie American Beauty.

I watched it for a few seasons but I got rid of HBO last year, too much garbage on it.
Six Feet Under is too graphic and didn't help me grow in the Lord so I quit watching it, not judging you or anything just stating my own decision.

Love the show. In fact, we have HBO because of it. However, this season has even weirded us out. I have the last 3 episodes TIVO'd and haven't watched them yet. Not sure if I want to.
