GIVEN NAMES:: Imora Symaci
CALL NAMES:: Sitka Avalion
AGE:: 19
GENDER:: Female
RACE:: Twi'lek
HOMEWORLD:: Ryloth
APPEARANCE:: ((photo: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-12/910932/aaylared.jpg)) Like most Twi'leks, Sitka is athletic and graceful as well as innately powerful. Her skin is a pale shade of burnt sienna, her eyes large and a deep brown. She wears a brown or burgundy heat-protective top, with tailored athletic slacks, minimal jewelry, and a leather protective headpiece to protect the sides of her face and her forehead.
[[height]]:: 1.6 metres
PERSONALITY:: Imora was highly empathic, intelligent, and impulsive and seemingly devoid of anger - the perfect Jedi - before a wish to preserve her life sent her rogue. She had an impish and sometimes mischievious sense of humour, which became acerberic and sarcastic with her transformation. Now as Sitka, the young twi'lek female retains all of her strengths, but is cold hearted, although preferring to keep clean hands despite her position as a bounty hunter. Most of her prizes come back alive. Her employment requires silence, stealth, patience, disguise and sometimes manipulation of the Force.
AFFILIATION:: The Empire
EMPLOYMENT:: When not on a mission assigned by Vadar or Palpatine, she acts as a highly skilled bounty hunter for those wealthy enough to employ her.
WEAPONS:: Lightsaber (violet colour, taken from an ambushed Jedi, and whose capture made Sitka much richer), a sporting blaster and a stealth blaster; other weapons are stashed in her ship for hunt and defense situations, as well as the various weapons that come standard with a fighter starcraft.
TRANSPORTATION:: The Avalion, a custom-built starfighter similar in appearance to the earlier Naboo Royal Starship, except it comes armed and is much smaller. ((Naboo Royal Starship:: http://www.starwars.com/databank/starship/nabooroyalstarship/index.html for more info))
ABILITIES:: While more than capable with a lightsaber, Sitka prefers to use it in a strictly defensive mode; like most of her people, she prefers cunning and capture (though rarely will a Jedi surrender) over violence. She is powerful in the Force but dislikes using it. Sitka can close her mind to it, as well as shield herself from other Force users.
HISTORY::
[[Imora]]:: Imora was a rather ordinary child (as Twi'lek go, that is) born to a rather ordinary family in an obscure township somewhere on the planet Ryloth - her childhood was uneventful until the arrival of Jedi Master Tal Hithnor'n, who was fleeing from Darth Vadar's vandetta against the Jedi. He recognised her potential and trained her in the ways of a knight, but without taking her from her home planet. Thus, she lived in relative security for many years, until she could officially be named a knight. She was well advanced in training to become a master herself when the Empire finally turned its attention to the home planet of the peaceful Twi'leks.
Jedi Master Tal Hithnor'n was searched out and killed, along with all of the other Jedi in hiding there, and Imora barely escaped with her life, passing herself off as a waitress in a low-society restaurant when in danger. Aware that her situation was highly precarious, and unaware that her presence and location was known, she fled Ryloth in a stolen decrepit ship, taking the alias of "Ytiri Monn'la" when taken by the Wing Guard in Cloud City on Bespin. While a free colony and mostly unnoticed by the Emperial eye, Chief Lando Calrissian refused to endanger the lives in his city. When the identity of his new friend "Ytiri" was discovered, she was handed over to the Emperial army in exchange for his continued position.
Imora was consequently taken to Emperor Palpatine and his apprentice Vadar, and broken. Since they had no need for another apprentice, she was instead let loose in the universe under strict conditions - she would do whatever evil they commanded, and would never return to the Jedi. It was then her name was changed to Sitka.
[[Sitka]]:: With her spirit broken to the command of the Dark, and with steadily increasing shame for the deaths she had brought about, Sitka had no choice but to obey. She never forgave Calrissian, but could not make herself to bring about his downfall. She instead turned her energies to perfecting the art of the hunt and capture, disdaining the Imperial assassins and emulating the bounty hunter. The skill needed to capture one's prize infinitely exceeded the rustic, little-needed kind needed to kill. // So much easier to kill,// Sitka reasoned. She could remain in one position for hours at a time without even blinking, and could go without eating for days if needed, her body so honed to the hunt that she could think of nothing else. However, Sitka trained herself to carry out improvised maneuvres as well as the thoroughly planned, and her services came in high demand. Her name was known alongside that of that of Fett, only hers was associated with elegance, precision and a live prisoner.
