Site Supporters Bug - mostly fixed but still some issues

Dear members and Site Supporters

By yesterday we had upgraded all our webservers to new servers with increased RAM and new OS. Today, some members noticed that some posts were out of sync - this was because the webservers did not have the same time synced with each other.

So I told the datacenter tech to sync times. The guy, Dan, God bless him, set the date to 2007. This automatically caused everyone's subscriptions which were shorter than 1 year to expire.

There was no way to reverse this except to manually go into members' accounts to change this. I tried, but after 20 accounts, gave up, because I was also trying to fix this while at work and today has been a busy day.

So I decided to write a short php script to do this. I tried doing this at work by getting the tech to upload the script but it didn't work.

I had to wait until I got home. At home, I got the script to work. What the script did was to fix up the problem with the members whose Site Supporter accounts didn't work.

The side effect is that it ended the subscriptions of a small group of members who happened to be on the very old CF subscription plans. There is no way to fix these members' accounts automatically.

For these members, I will have to fix them manually. Can these members please PM me their:

Paypal email address
Amount donated
Date donated

So that I can fix their accounts? Thanks!

What about those of us who were gifted year subscriptions?I have no record of that donation.I was about a month into that subscription.
My supporter perks are still not working yet.

I don't understand. I'm not on an "old" subscription plan. I've been donating three months at a time with a manual renewal. In fact, just yesterday I renewed for another three months, although my subscription did not expire until tomorrow. And still, today, my site supporter status is messed up and my PM box is still full.

I'll send you the information you're asking for, Erwin, but I don't think the bug is as fixed as you think it is.

Okay, this is incredibly frustrating. I cannot PM Erwin with the information because my PM box is full (which it shouldn't be but is because of the bug...) And I can't clear out my PM box because I get nothing but function call errors when I try.

My original subscription expired tomorrow. Yesterday when I got the reminder email, I renewed for an additional three months. I assume that would have extended my subscription to three months from tomorrow.

By the way, there is still the issue of not being able to export your PMs to clear out your PM box. Function call errors abound. Thanks.

Sorry about the problem - I'm trying my best to fix this manually - the good news is that I think 80-90% of accounts are fixed.

i had been gifted a SS for 3 mos about 2 weeks ago. It ended sometime in January ..dont know the exact date. Then today someone else gifted me a one year subscription. Now my subscription just shows Oct 27, 2006- oct 27, 2007 .. so my 3 mos just disappeared. I should have a subscription now till January of 2008, can you fix it?
