It is worth it - at the basic level - for not seeing all the ads and having the time between posts eliminated.

I think I agree with this. I have been a supporter and paid for others to have supporter status. But next time it comes up if Irenew I will not consider it a donation to a worthy cause, but the purchase of some features on a site that I use.

interesting change. And doesn't that just show us how we shouldn't judge others becuz while something can appear one way outwardly (like somebody subscribes), you never really know what they consider by it in their motive.

Some subscribe becuz they find this place a blessing, or a ministry, or for some benefits like a paid subscription or a service to them...

I call on my right, as a woman, to change my mind. Depending on Lee's plans for the forum, I will definately consider renewing my SS...after all, I enjoy the perks too!
