CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm 32, recently quit my job and doing freelance work. Back when I had a job, I had a lot but went to church maybe less than six to eight times a year.
Now, I'm working 5 hrs a day and I go to church regularly and though I don't have as much as I had when I was employed, I'm feeling better. I don't know how long this is going to last.
I am a book work and I want to go surfing. And I'm starting to bore myself so this will be all for now

Hey all, I am not exactly a newbie since I joined in....2004 I believe. But I am just recently back to CF. I handed my savior the reigns to the wreck that was my life when I was sixteen and have fallen head over heels for Him ever since. I am beginning to realize how my introverted-ness is making fellowship with fellow believers difficult and seeing the need for that fellowship now that I am at least attempting to grow up! Haha. Annnnd obviously I am a little wordy occasionally. Whew. Ok The end!
