Today I am sealing the windows and doors of my home today. Now that it's colder than it should ever be, i feel my heat slowly creeping out the cracks. I also saw my electric bill over the weekend...

I actually finished everything on my list of things to do today.

I really didn't enjoy having to get up on the roof and dig stuff out of the gutters though.

I'm laying here with my chocolate cake reading about another unfortunate soul who must seal up the cracks/retain the warmth in their home for lack of the warmth of another body. .

Visiting my sis in Ky, and 6F this AM...that's cold for this Fl Boy.

At least the chocolate cake is warm.

Minor update: I can't feel my face, but my home is 5 degrees warmer. I'll take it!

Accomplished some things today. Had classes, studied some, read a little bit of a book I need to read, went to the gym, did some groceries, ate relatively healthy... albeit not thriftly eating but that's a w.i.p. (I hate cooking *sigh*)

But now I have to study more lol, I'll watch a bit of Netflix and head to bed.

P.s. sorry to hear about the cold and the bill, that's unfortunate.

I got tired of cold concrete floors, so bought some carpet squares to lay down. Didn't finish. Maybe tomorrow.

I am going to attempt to get at least 6 hours good sleep before I head back to one more night of work. I am not very good at sleeping well. Partly trying to find the balance of liking to sleep in the cold but needing to keep my legs warm to prevent nerve pain.
