If you are officially friends rather than boyfriend and girlfriend, but you date and talk with this person a little differently than you do friends and kiss him, does that go under courting or singles forums?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think that would probably go under the courting. The fact that you kiss said "friend" says that there is something more then just being friends there.
And I'm sorry you may offically refer to yourselves as friends. The rest of the world refers to you as boyfriend/girlfriend. This person you are speaking of, like it or not is your de facto boyfriend even if your de jure defintion of him is just a friend.

Yeah, he's kind of into officially taking things slow. It took him 5 dates/quasi dates to say we are dating.
What can I say? I really like the guy though.

You're courting, but you can still post in the singles forum until you are married (because legally you are single).

I would ask him about it. Some Christians out there are really weird about "courting" or "dating". Some belive that they should be "friends" until they get engaged or something. I'm not very into that and I could write pages and pages of why those things are useless and stupid. But that having been said, a lot of Christians are still like that.
It could be that or it could be that he's nervous that you will think he's moving too fast if he refers to you as his girlfriend and he may just need to hear it from you that you consider it ok or even preferential. I don't know why he would be nervous about that considering you two have kissed, but you never know.
Ultimatly the only way to know his motives is to ask him.

And when the non-platonic part of the relationship ends, which I suspect it will soon, I will just have Singles and here, right? Since I won't be in a relationship?
