so on the subject of dates...I wonder where my matchees would take me...better be epic. or.ELSE.

Er, I asked myself that same question the other day.... The answer is that there is clearly a lack of Christian women that are also as goofy as I am. I am a goofball, but old fashioned nonetheless.

If I had a match, and took them on a date, I would meet her early on a saturday, cook her an excellent breakfast from scratch, spend some time doing whatever she wanted to do, (shopping...etc), take her to her favorite place for lunch, then I would take her to one of my usual North Georgia Hiking trails and hike with her to the top of a mountain, at which time we would eat the dinner that I packed as we watch the sunset, then we would drink hot coffee, tea, or hot cocoa gazing up at the stars, then maybe camp overnight (separate tents!) In the morning she would wake up to camp coffee and a campfire breakfast as we watch the sunrise over the mountains. we would then hike down the mountain and spend the rest of the day doing things she enjoys. then we both head to our homes and plan to do something else fun on the next date.

Question everyone: out of curiousity, if you could, where would you take your CF match for a day/evening?.

That would depend on who it is and what she is into. I'd keep it fairly low-key, perhaps a drive out to Warragamba Dam for a picnic lunch, or maybe to Penrith Regatta Centre for a little on water action, or even just down the road to Kiama to watch the blowhole. Whatever it was it wouldn't be energetic, just something relaxing so we can concentrate on getting to know one another better.

Dinner would involve one of the seafood oriented restaurants in the area, followed up with Cold Rock icecream (don't blame me if you look at the 'Ice cream and Mix Ins' under Products.

Alternatively we could just hang out together at the Botanic Gardens all day and chat.


As for the leading/initiative issue, I'd like women to feel that they can participate in the decision making process from the very start. Of course I'd assume all responsibility for the decision, but not necessarily the credit.
