CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

One of the mottoes in the Staff forums is that there is nothing done that cannot be undone. Well, I suppose that's technically true in this case, but undoing it might lead to few unhappy forum members.

When I was a former staff member I did something that couldn't be undone. Ha.
And I don't see the point in having them shut down. People seem to like them if they've kept them alive this long.

Things ended like early 2013? Though, one could argue that we weren't actually together since 2012.

me and her get along well
we are not like super close friends, but OBOB is kind of a small place
and we both take our faith seriously and sometimes get upset when people play fast and loose with it
lol I just think she should post more
