I believe this software requires threads to be split manually. Another forum which uses this interface finally split a thread with about 1300 replies.

I'm still proud of my pre-edit post. I didn't want to offend anyone with it, though.

They do require manual splits, it's just they aren't being done anymore since it doesn't really serve a purpose.
