All I know is that cf really changed with the exodus of some regular female posters. Then it changed into being the new cf which is disproportionately mostly guys now.

I'm beginning to think Saleena/GM/Robyna/TeaCat wasn't any type of female poster to begin with...so I guess the male posters had the advantage from the beginning. (A man in drag for Rob's profile picture would embody GM's sense of humor and quirkiness and true self.)

Writing styles were eerily similar. Robyna had a very distinctive style that was difficult to replicate.
