Out of boredom, I think, people in the singles forums are putting random pairs of people together into a "match", to see who would best fit with whom, if we were to be in a "real life" type of situation, rather than typing online.

Of course, it is something that is completely for fun. And thus far, I have once again escaped unscathed...
