CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The band was great for listening, but too fast and inconsistent for dancing.
Real bummer was that there was a girl at another table I was gonna ask to dance and she left before I got a chance. I talked to her a little and Mary and Shirley mad fun of me for not asking for her number.

Maybe ... we may be going dancing tonite, so she could be out again - although how may people who aren't had-core dancers go to the casinos on Sunday nites?

You go dancing at a Casino? I don't think we have dancing at our Casino. I haven't been there for a couple of years. Every once in a while they have good entertainment. Been a while though since they have. I am hoping when I move to the Seattle Area, I can find a place I can go danicing and learn ballroom dancing. There isn't any place like that around here.

Are you sure? Sometimes you gotta look a little to find it. Where do you live? I've been able to find a swing dance place every business trip I've been on in the last year.

Well, we go dance at the bar in the casino, but because we know a lot of the dancers in town, we know that's where they'll be. We met them at the studios and formal dances, but once a month ain't enough, so we hit the casinos.
