Why have I not found a Christian girlfriend? I go to a Christian school and am single. It bothers me about a girlfriend. I think about it a lot.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It could be for any number of reasons...or a combination of reasons. Some of the more likely ones , i believe, would be :
a. It is Gods Will at least for this particular season of your life. I am currently in this season myself. I would make an extra effort at using this alone time to grow closer to God and to keep yourself occupied with interesting things, activities, platonic friendships, hobbies, church singles ministries , etc... Just because you and I dont have a Significant Other right now doesnt mean that life comes to a stop or becomes uninteresting.
b. We need to make a more assertive effort to be in good places to meet other Christians of the opposite sex . Sometimes, we are our own worse enemy ! Choosing too much solitude can work against the development of friendships leading to relationships.
c. We havent gone to God in an intense and frequent way with our heart felt petition(s) when it comes to our deeply personal life.
Ive learned not to allow it to consume me..but to realize that it will occur down the road. Regards. PM Me if you feel like going deeper or more personal regarding the issue.
