" Sing unto God, sing praises to his name." [Psalm 68:4]
Don't sing songs, sing praises, with your mind on the meaning of the words, and your heart in them. Don't sing to the people, sing to the Lord. Don't concentrate on musical perfection, concentrate on releasing your innerself in the praise.
Come, let us sing praises to the Lord. Let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise. Praise the Lord! How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him.
I will sing praises to you, O Lord my God with all my heart. I will glorify your name forever. PRAISE GOD!

Thanks. Just what I needed to read while I'm rushing to get ready for church where I'm singing a solo. I always try to close my eyes and concentrate on the words and Jesus. It's difficult sometimes though!
