Name: Singing Elk
Age: 40-ish
Race: Iriniki- Person that looks like an Elk (Wapiti)
Gender: Female
Eye color: Green
Mane color: Reddish brown
General description: At first glance she looks like the American Elk or Wapiti in coloration. Her antlers are the same general shape, but somewhat larger and heavier with pale peach colored tines. Her antlers do not shed each year. The peach color of the tines are from circulation. If she feels sick as in nausea, the tines will turn green! Like an Elk her sense of hearing and smell is keen. She does not like cities or crowds. Only if the need is great will she venture into a city or town. She has a distinctive whistling call or 'Bugle'. Being intelligent she can modulate this call into a hauntingly beautiful flutelike melody, hence her name.
Back ground: Singing Elk is a young imperial with an impressive set of antlers. 40's is young for her race of long lived beings but old enough to sport beautiful antlers. Despite her splendid appearance, she is not 'macho'. When she became of age she left the hills and settled in the forest of Ash, the domain of the Fairies.
Background on species: This race is from an unpublished novel I am uploading into my computer. It is entitled The Challenger copyright 1983 R.E. Woods-Marks. (Yes that's me) This creature is a long lived beautiful race with a strong devotion to the Creator.
The avatar is a very good representation. I took a clipart image and edited it to look like Singing Elk.
