CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Whew, I am soo glad your little boy gets a big more time to grow and develop in there. Sometimes those weight estimates can be off as by as much as two pounds! I know we alllll want Elijah to be healthy and strong whenever he gets here.

yeaaah! I am so glad you had a great appointment! I am so happy...that you are happy with it! While you are having your c-section on Tuesday, I will be getting test results and getting my final regular sonogram! yeaaaah for you! i was thinking about how if you had him today, it would put a bit of a damper on all your moving plans. I guess God really does know what He is doing, doesn't he?

Well my surgery is tomorrow morning at 7:30am so I won't be here for at least 3 or 4 days. They'll keep me in the hospital for at least 3 nights I believe. I'll come back and post pictures of my precious one when I get a chance! I hope you all had a blessed Christmas!! See you all soon! Please keep me in your prayers!! I'm getting pretty anxious!

Hey ladies!! I'm a new mommy!! The delivery went great!
Baby Elijah entered the world at 7:49 at 8 pounds 7 ounces and 20 inces long. The C-section surgery was quick and the recovery has been awesome so far. Once they took me off the epidural I didn't want to take any strong pain meds so I decided to only take a 800mg motrin and it's been more than enough to get me through the pain. Day 4 and I have yet to take any pain meds. It is amazing how much your life changes when baby enters your world and it's amazing how losing sleep and not being able to shower just doesn't matter anymore. I'm so in love! He's just so precious!
I'm working on the the breastfeeding and he's doing great but my milk hasn't come in yet so I'm praying I won't be the resson we can't do that. So please pray for me there! Here are a couple pics of us I wanted to share! I'll share more later but we don't have internet at our new house yet but we'll be getting it soon! Have a blessed New Year!

Awwww. He's beautiful, congratulations, mommy! Please wait out the milk thing for a few days...it takes a little while for it to come in. Meanwhile, just let him nurse when he wants to and that will get the milk supply up.

YAY!!! congrats!! he is gorgeous! You look great too mommy!! As far as the milk goes..it will come in anytime now..mine came in 5 days after the delivery with my son Luke! Just keep feeding him..the succking is what will make the milk come in...huggs.

Your milk may take longer to come in because you had a C-Section, up to a week. It's normal and all babies drop weight at the beginning. Remember to drink lots of water and nurse him often and it'll happen. One day you'll wake up to HUGE boobs and yeah, that's milk.
