CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks girl! I will certainly update if I can. I have a feeling tomorrow is the day though. I've been having headaches today which is not a good sign and I don't think she'll like hearing that so to be safe I think she will most likely take him tomorrow but we'll see what she thinks. I can't believe I'm about to be a mommy!!

Praying for you, December 20th sounds like a good day to have him...then again the 26th sounds good too! Although it would be nice to have a baby for Christmas! What fun!

Yeah!!! A Christmas baby! I know we will make it at least to the 26th...we shall see from there! Perhaps a New year baby...no, what will happen is he will be an end of January/beginning of February baby! lol...soooo praying for you sis!

Ahh I'm getting nervous now. I'm excited that I might be holding my baby tomorrow but everything before that (getting the spinal or epidural and the IV...the meds possibly making me feel nauseous...etc) makes me a little nervous. I'm ok with shots and getting blood drawn but the other is scary to me...

I'm almost positive I don't care what you think
any pain that you may feel will fade from your memory very quickly when you see your little one! Everything will be fine..you're in God's hands, he'll take care of you and the baby. I'm gonna be at work all day every day probably til Christmas eve so I'll just tell you now...I love you and I'll be praying for you every day! Hopefully when I come back you'll have a baby to show me!

Yes...I am a week behind her..but if she has baby Eli today then she will have him two weeks early....so that means that...no, three weeks early...

Here I am, no baby yet . I had one of the best appointments I've had so far though! My blood pressure was the lowest it has been, the baby looked great on both the sono and the fetal monitor, and I've actually lost a little weight which most likely means a lot the swelling has gone down since I've been on bed rest! I'm feeling good about the decision to wait until the scheduled c-section on Tuesday. I prayed this morning that the Lord's will would be done and if he wasn't ready to come yet that the doctor would wait, so I guess he needs a little more time in there. So his little lungs will have more time to develop and he'll be nice and strong when he gets here!
The sono was great, it was the best view of him yet! He's got a chubby little face but we did find out that his head wasn't as big as we thought but he is around...8 pounds. He's a big boy and growing every day! So by Tuesday who knows how big he will be! I can't wait to see him though! Since we're moving into our new house this weekend I think it's best that we have a little more time to prepare for him, it would be pretty crazy for everyone to move while I was in the hospital.
