Please read carefully, believe that this thread has a lot of useful information to any person who is a non-believer, and is a believer today.
  • Galatians 5:19-21
  • 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Was there ever a point in your life where you were always lying to get away with something even though down in your inner-being knew what you were doing was wrong?

How about a point in your life where you were going out slamming drugs, picking up prostitutes, and going to have a party - until the next morning?

When you are chatting with your friends talking about something, and when they said something wrong did you have a sudden outburst of anger?

Have you ever caused division between you and your social peers just for the sole purpose of causing discourse? Maybe even in your own family setting at home with mom, and dad? Even your own children?

What about being envious of another person for having something you did not have? Say a wife, husband, children, a brand new car, a brand new house, maybe they landed a new job position, and you become envious and hateful towards them?

What about being hostile to someone after having an accidental fender-bender on the side of the road or in a parking lot? What about coming off drugs, or being drunk and you end up becoming hostile towards your spouse, family, or even your own children?

Ever had trouble with lust? inappropriate contentography, idolizing men or women?
  1. None of these fleshly actions/choices, come from the Kingdom of God (the Kingdom of God is heavenly), they come by and through our flesh.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Can you see in this scripture how flesh and blood can not inherit the Kingdom of God?

Why is this ? It is because we are born in a natural body, and our flesh is something that when we grow up and live in this world is naturally going to be fed first, before we end up finding out about spiritual things which we learn through our experiences of others through our travels in the world and hearing about them when they are spoken of.
  1. Our flesh can cause destruction in our life; not only in our life it can cause destruction for others around us, and that are part of our lives too.
  2. From : Gal. 5:19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Choices are what we have to make as human beings every single day. We all grow up in different perspectives because not every single person has had the same background growing up, and the world views of others are in a wide variety of different aspects of morals, and experiences that they had grew up and learned from in this flesh we are given at birth.
  1. Because of our sinful nature - the sinful nature can is part of the earthly bodies we possess in this life.
  2. However there is hope when we turn our life around to the Lord Jesus Christ who bore our sins and have faith on Him.
  3. When we read the bible we can find that the Father: God sends us - the holy spirit, that will teach us everything and remind us of everything that Jesus Christ has told us.
  4. (About how to love your neighbor as yourself, to pray for your enemies, to love your enemies, to do good unto them, to live in peace with others, to turn the other cheek when someone smacks you across one of them.)
  5. A personal note on this I believe that people can change by God working on their hearts and minds even with out ever reading the bible itself and have a change in and through experience and after a certain amount of knowledge and altering life decisions that will have a person who once was so destructive in their flesh; changes them inwardly by them seeking a change in their life by looking towards God.
So as humans who live in the flesh we have a fleshly body, and when we look towards God and His Son Jesus Christ we adopt a spiritual body which comes after our fleshly ones.

So inherently we all sin by nature, -- and one hopeful message is the good news is that of Jesus Christ coming and paying for our mistakes we have made in our life and dying on the cross, so that our mistakes our no longer counted against us by his shed blood - for the whole world.

  • 1 John 2:2 He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
So where does all these leave us?
  • We have had all our sin reconciled on the cross, and we are given a new hope when we look to the one who paid for our sins, even looking towards God, for help.
  1. This hope includes a changed mind (repentant turning towards God), a renewed mind in Christ Jesus (Romans 12:2), if we learn or listen to others and they help build us up in the Lord and what is truly been said we can be reminded of what Scriptures truly teach, and be reminded of them, by the spirit that is given by God.
  2. Having the Spirit of Christ, and the Holy spirit in-dwelling in us as we are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and we are saved by Grace through faith which is by God and no one can boast about it and it has nothing to do with what that we do outwardly - though we are changed by the holy spirit which changes how we are as a person when we make the choice to live by the spirit rather than that of the flesh.
So we learn that we do sin in our flesh, do we also know we do not sin in the spiritual bodies we are given ever time me make the action to make the choice of the spirit rather than the flesh?

  • Galatians 5:22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law (guilt that will in our hearts and minds when we live by the spirit, and trust in God and the Lord Jesus Christ) against these things!
Choices - To serve God and to live by the spirit to the best of our ability - that comes only by and through a relationship with God and Jesus - cant live by the spirit without their help, and God changing the inner person by the spirit that He gives.

  • Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. 25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. 26 Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.
This is the last bit of scripture that is left to offer on this topic.

  1. Notice how the last of the scripture asks the audience that is reading to not become conceited - That would mean don't be conceited in your knowledge of what you know, or to see yourself as better than someone who may be more weaker, or may have more trouble in the flesh than you do.
  2. Notice how it says do not provoke one another - What does that mean to you?
  3. Notice how it says don't be jealous of one another. - What does that mean to you?
In the famous words of the Lord Jesus Christ, Love God, and love your neighbor as yourself. No matter where they are in their fleshly nature, and be humble, lets try to live in humility towards our neighbor because we have all made choices, and mistakes in our life, and no one is going to be perfect though we can strive to live by the spirit and experience a more fuller life in Christ Jesus.

Thank you so much for reading, hope this helps many people out in their life and gives so more understanding to us as human beings.
