I had never heard of this word, but it's an interesting question.
Traditional SDA thought suggests that a time is coming when sabbatarians will be persecuted by those who worship God on the wrong day of the week. Inherent in this point of view is the idea that there are right and wrong days to worship God.
Depending on where you are, the views can get more or less extreme. In the SDA church in which I grew up, I was taught at a young age how to identify edible berries, roots and mushrooms so I could better survive in that day down the road when I will have to live in a cave to escape persecution. Further, I participated as a child in mock trials where I was taught to defend why I observed the seventh-day sabbath. I was taught a series of proof texts that I could recite from memory that supported the seventh-day sabbath.
Admittedly, not all SDAs have had this same experience. SDAism takes on different flavors. However, many (if not most) SDAs believe that a day is coming when laws will be passed prohibiting sabbatarians from worshipping on the seventh day.
In addition, SDAs have historically been pacifists. For example, SDAism has historically encouraged members not to participate in military roles that require them to carry weapons.
I probably didn't answer your question. How can I help?
