This is an upcoming movie inspired by the genius graphic novels by Frank Miller. It's a movie done in black and white, with some things accented by color. It's three stories in one movie, all tied together somehow. I love it already.

I'd post the link to the trailer, but part of it does have a rather....'sinful', to put it generally, but short, scene, and I'd hate to post that and have children see it. So if you want it, just PM me with the request.

From a cinematography standpoint, they did a brilliant nod to the style of Frank Miller's artwork in Sin City. It's not only black and white, the fim has been 'pushed', the contrast is way high, to mimick the harsh, almost film negative quality of the original art. Very cool. The makeup on Mickey Rourke makes him look just like Marv.

The subject matter is pretty grim.

I knew that, lol. >.< But I wasn't sure if he was duoing with another director or if he was just a consultant on what to do...Didn't want to make a greivace error.

It's good he's directing it. It is his 'baby' after all.
