A Thoughtful Thought
Let us meditate on this distinction by noting what God says about it. Initially we need to know: "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Rom. 3:23). We need to see as God says that we are a fallen race --people (Gen. 2 & Gen. 3); and thus we naturally indulge self and sin by our nature. Some professing Christians speak of obtaining 'sinless perfection' since they began believing about the Lord Jesus, but that is the deceit of Satan to make us think all is well. WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE FLESH (natural self-serving desires) while yet in this world ---so real "born again" Christians need to judge it before God and continue forth with Him!
The exhortation of God to the TRUE "born again" saints (as John 3:16 and as the Epistle: 1 Jn. 5: 10-12) is to NOT live and act in the flesh (carnality); which mankind likes to do (1 Cor. 3:3), for we are thus dishonoring God and will thus FORFEIT MUCH BLESSING now, and for eternity at the "judgment seat of Christ" in Heaven (2 Cor. 5:10). The "born again" believer has a spiritual birth (John 3:16) and must see his/her place before God and walk and live in holiness (Rom. 8:4; Rom. 10:3; Eph. 4:17); not in pleasing our flesh.
Such a Godly state as our God offers and that one has truly owned ---CONFESSED their sinful nature and received God's salvation and cleansing by RECEIVING the Lord Jesus into their heart; then we are called to walk in holiness to honor God. That is not sinless perfection in our walk, but which must be judged DAILY to keep us honoring God (though saved for Heaven), and speaks of our STANDING before our Creator-God ---though Satan will always work to stir up our flesh while in this world. Let us be mindful of the "high calling of God in Christ Jesus", as our Bible shows us.

SIN AND SINS
Perhaps one might not realize the difference between SIN AND SINS as shown in the Word of God; and it seems important to see the difference to help in understanding our nature as fallen Beings before our Holy Creator-God.Let us meditate on this distinction by noting what God says about it.
