My wife LOVES the sims!! Correct me if I am wrong, but after Unleashed are Superstar and Makin' Magic. . . . Superstar is awesome in that you can become famous and get obsessed fans and be, well, famous. A great deal of work, but definately worth it when you finally reach superstar level.

As for the Magic stuff, as long as it doesn't bother your particular sensibilities or conscience, it too is a great addition. My fav is that you can have pet dragons, that never make "messes" or any of those other unflattering things that normal pets do, AND they eat frogs. Get tired of a particular sim? turn him into a frog! lol [remember, it is a game]

You should see some of the things she does to those poor [dumb and annoying!] sims.

In my opinion the two after the pet one wasnt worth alot, they both added little to the over quality of the game. But in all honesty the Sims as we know it is on fast track to nowhere. They quit making Sims games.

However they picked up the Sims 2, talk about an awesome looking game, I just hope their expansion packs aren't as worthless as the originals. I wanted pets to be added to the original and it took them like 5 expansion packs to do that. I hope they can add pets to the Sims 2 in the first expansion pack before they start adding down town or vacation spots. Those are all fine but didnt help the story until you actually was able to complete your family.

Sims Online is the only sims game I've played and it left a very bad taste in my mouth. All it is, is a huge cybersex chatroom. The game says Teen but there are various sexual and adult situations in the game...

LOL! I had the Sims online for a while, I noticed a few brothels but most people online are nice. I'd always get banned from the house for leaving a huge mess on the floor.

I have all the versions of The Sims except Livin Large. I am absoulty in love with the games. I dunno, I just really like to play it. The problem is my game keeps crashing on me. I have no clue why..

But yeah, as for Makin Magic, it's really nothing to worry about. I think Maxis made the game so people who even don't like magic won't have to worry about all that. There is a lot more than just magic.

I say get them, and if you don't like them, return them. :)

Sims is a game you have to be in the mood for.

Makin' Magic is really worth the 30 bucks, it adds so much more to the game. Plus if you've got Superstar, fame will finally be within your grasp.

Sims Online is ****, pure ****. Remember that the real freaks come out online, so I wouldn't get the program.

I've gotten almost every hack program there is for Sims, but now I'm tired of the game--my advice--from someone who's spent way too much cash and time on it--HAVE ANOTHER GAME STANDING BY. When you've started to understand what they're saying (like I have)...it's about time to stop.

BTW, "occult crud"...? Makin' Magic is smoke, mirrors, and clowns...some people are remiss of what the Occult really is.

Later,

While my wife is really the expert on this, I do know that there are several utilities out there that will check all your downloaded Sims files, and delete or move what doesn't belong. Also, if you can narrow the crash down to a specific object, skin, wall, floor, etc. while in game, then you should be able to manually remove it from the respective folder using windows explorer.

As for finding these utilities, I'd check out the links at the Sims official website. :help:
