I was thinking about this for a while now. When i work, what am i really working for? To serve God or to serve myself? Illusion is the world's name. We live in a world of illusion well at least that's what i reckon.
I work, to get what? A big heap of numbers in this weird plastic card thingy the world call's credit card? Or for a heap of paper thin stuff called money?
And i use those worthless little things to buy, well, there's that big hunk of metal sitting on the corner there. They call it a car. I think it's worth 19,000 paper thingies.
Oh and toys! Just a bunch of plastic and metal junk put together to look cool.
Don't forget that cave you live in too. It's a cave made of straight block stones with little whitish lines in between. You get home and what do you do? Get on this big peice of metal and press little button thingies to talk to people on a peice of wire a jillion miles away.
Well that's the world simplified for you. But how come i can't simplify God? Probably because He isn't an illusion. Because He is as SIMPLE as you think. He is the basis of us. He made us to be what we are now. Sure we can be stubborn, annoying, probably hold the potential to drive Him nuts every two minutes but the world just can't compare to what He has for us. What does the world have? Peices of metal, plastic, wood and stone. What does God have? Everything and some!
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son and whoever believes in Him shall be saved.
That is as simple as it is. Why complicate things to the point of putting it in textbooks and college standards for kids to try to figure out at school? Sheesh!
