What do you consider the simple, yet truly wonderful, things in life? What simple things (or seemingly simple) are you most grateful for?


Here are some of the simple things I am grateful for:

watching King of the Hill ...makes me laugh til I almost cry!

freshly baked chocolate chip cookies

hot showers/ long baths

rain during a 100 degree Texas summer day that cools you off

scented candles

sitting on a dock fishing with a loved one

talking on the phone with my Mom

reading the comics section in the newspaper

friendly people at the grocery store

football games

a glass of ice cold water, any day

hot cocoa when it's cold

Home Depot (it's like being a kid in toys r us that place is so big and there's so many possibilities of projects to do ...can't wait to have a house so I can do them!)

Sitting and listening to music
Sitting and having nothing to do
dancing
Running along a path in woods
Eating yummy foods
Hot showers in the winter
COLD showers in the summer
Swimming
being in nature and seeing God's beautiful earth
Car racing
driving without a destination (not anymore. crazy gas prices! 2 dollars a gallon!)
bubble baths

Anyway, for me, it's "King Of The Hill" as well, and then:
