CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, I can criticize these bands, and not just because I'm in a good band myself (which I am). It's because we all have our own opinions. BTW, it's "criticize", not "critizs".
Right about the opinions thing, Then it really doesn't matter what you say either. I'm glad your in a good band. Thats pretty cool, no matter what type of music you play, or watever. I respect you more that I did at the begingi of our conversation about music, because you have a little more room to talk.

Wow I didn't think Simple Plan was that bad of a band in the opinions of others. But that's okay. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
I never really listened to the lyrics. I've listened to the songs so many times that I could probably sing the lyrics to the song, but when I listen to bands I usually just listen to the beat of the music. That's the best part of the song in my opinion. So even if the song has bad lyrics, but the beat is good, I will probably go for the song anyway because I like the beat and the music, not the lyrics.

Haha..ok, now. I like what *Kittie* said ..what is the piont? There is none, which is why i find this so funny. I'm really not that big of a simple plan person, but i mean, i was a little bored so i decided to spice this up a little...no hurt feelings, it was cool seeing how some people really do having boring lives.
