Silly Thread vs Serious Thread

So you're on CF, you're looking around. Your eyes! They spot a thread that interests you... Is it a silly thread that catches your eye first and you click on it? Or is a serious in-depth thread that makes you want to jump right in and post your two cents? Or is it both?

I don't mind serious threads, but I'm not really able to speak my mind without fear of retribution. (infractions, people thinking I'm insane/disturbing.. etc.)

If I'm not able to truly fully engage in a subject, I usually lose all interest.

I like serious threads a little more, but a lot of them are about debatable subjects, and I tend to avoid getting involved in those. I do like the non-serious threads too, they are easy to post in.

That's what one thing that I love about Singles, we have both serious and non-serious threads.

I like both as well. Bot have their pros and cons. But I lean a bit more toward silly threads, because they can be more relaxing than the serious ones.
