CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

All that I need, is a song in my heart. . .
God is a warm towel when I'm wet and cold and shivering from the storm.
God is my morning coffee. He wakes me up, gives me energy and soothes my tastebuds.
God is the soft duck down pillow I rest my tired, sore and weary head on after a long day
God is a cup of hot chicken noodle soup when I'm sick at home with the flu.
God is my flashlight or lantern when I am walking in unfamiliar territory in the dark of night.
God is the song in my heart when I am am needing encouragement
God is the water that holds me up so I can swim, the air that enables me to breathe, the wind that enables my broken wings to fly, the doctor that heals my wounds and throws out the old bandaids, the father that guides me and looks out for me, even the husband that protects and cherishes me. God really is my everything.....wow, I'd surely be lost without him
