I did hike Whitney in '92 though in 11.5 hrs.!

I was going to use this one but am not on here alot and never got to using a sig. Go ahead if you want it.

Sounds great! We stayed at Whitney Portal and left about 4:30 am. We made great time as the weather was great and summited about 1:00 pm.
It was a great time. It is my plan to eventually hike all 14K's in CA (5/14 at this point).

Can't wait to hear how it goes!

My advice is to turn them off entirely. I have never seen the point in people having half a dozen quotations in their signature, which appear at the end of every single post they make. It's just pointless and distracts you while trying to read through a thread.

A signature is something that you think is personally relevant or a point that you personally want to make / be associated with your internet persona. Just as your avatar or your custom title.

So I would advise you not to let others define your persona. You don´t need a signature. At some point, something may come up to you.
