  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think there may be something wrong with my kitty. All she does is sleep...that's it. She is not even playful. She is just lazy and sleeps all day and all night. When I bring out string or another toy for her to play with, she just sits there...no response...just watches it. Doesn't even try to play with it. Maybe she is not a playful kitten? I think we are going to take her to the vet? Any suggestions or advice?

You didn't say how long you've had kitty if she's in new surroundings she'll be timid for a while, if you've had her awhile you should probably have her looked at by a vet, then if all is well give her time to adjust, some kittens are just naturally mellow and that can be a good thing. Good luck with kitty, keep us posted on her.

Tina, is you kitty eating? You know my cat is so mellow, she sleeps in her hand basket and you can carry her everywhere you go, when I first took her to get her spayed I picked her up and put her in a little basket so she wouldn't get upset on the ride home, well she liked it so much she stayed in whenever she needed a nap or felt afraid, then when I took her the next month to get declawed, I brought her basket to the vets to pick her up and they were so afraid to have meput her in her basket in case she jumped out, well she didn't, and the whole vets clinic is still amazed, she is very sweet and not a wild cat, I love her dearly, can't imagine what I'd do without her. She will be 3 this christmas and she weighs 15lbs. I hope your kitty turns out fine and happy too.
