Isn't it true that after God formed the earth he gave it to the rich and wicked? So what makes him think that he is God?

O, you can say that, no, the devil fell from God's grace and snatched the world for himself. Are you telling me that the Father had no foreknowledge of the devils' reign?

If God had been worthy he would not have let wickedness out of his treasury.

This God, Jehovah, Jesus, whoever you call him has been lying from the beginning; and he compiled his lies in a book you call scripture or gospel.

Fact death and what you call sin has always been a constant in the universe. We have a fossil record to prove it.

This is the truth, that God, after he formed the earth--he gave it to the rich and wicked because himself being rich and wicked. God is in fact an evil being, knowingly creating the devil and unleashing him upon the face of the earth--that is his image of perfection. So be perfect like your Father who is in hell. Now now, not all of us believe in everything the Bible says. The whole "6 days" thing is probab;y just an old Jewish adaptation of a babyalonian myth... but you have to admit, as far as myths go- it's a pretty great one, isin't it? Would you, perhaps, make the same insulting remarks regarding Zeus? That he killed his father, raped women, set a double standard for his followers and so on? I have always been curious, for though many who do not believe hate all believers equally, most who do not believe and many who believe differently seem to hate Christ above all.

And what has our God done to deserve your hatred? According to our claims, as you yourself aknowledge, nothing. According to your claims, he is a liar and a failure. We would not worship such a God. In fact, if Christ is such as you say than we worship a false idol- a Christ
we created in our minds- so do not hold us to issue for such things.

I believe that God is not a manipulator. For him, there is no disconnect between the means and the end. He always does the most right, and noble thing. You say that he should not have created man. He shall make the best of what he has done. You say that he should have known before hand if he were truly God. Is it the office of a good man to participate in Machiavellian maneuvering? Likewise, is it the office of a Good God?

You will see many contradictions in the Bible. In genesis:

Genesis 6:6 it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.


So he creates the flood, then he regrets having creted the flood. This is because everything is hard in God's path. Everything he does is so unimaginably agonizing to him. In a manner of speaking, he is always crucified, and always on the cross. He must approach with regret and sorrow each thing he does, for his is the most sorrowful, the most selfless work on this earth.

How could an atheist hate Christ ? If I do not believe something to exist why would I hate it ?

I think you are confusing the distaste many atheists have for superstition/religion with a hatred of Zeus/Allah/Yahweh/Ganesh.

I sincerely do not hate Ganesh the elephant headed deity, but I do think his followers are worthy of my ridicule.

I think this isn't a philosophical thread, its a bash fest against revelation. If you want to discuss the problem of evil in a philosophical manner, than that would be nice. Otherwise it is absurd to claim for factual certainty for things you could not possibly even know unless God Himself revealed them to you.

Well, as the OP has posted this in the philosophy forum, I think we need to raise a few issues regarding his own epistemology.

First of all, I would like to know on what basis the OP believes he can achieve any knowledge, about anything. I would presume that his first principle is that of empiricism (please correct me if I am wrong) yet he makes all sorts of factual claims that have nothing to do with empiricism.

How can you jutsify this claim? It doesn't justify itself just because you've claimed it to be so. Please write out, in sylogistic form, that logic shows this statement is factually correct.

The same goes for for all the claims you made in your post. When you write out the logical sylogisms please do so deductivley as induction is always a fallacy.
