I don't recall any bad language (though it depends on your definition of "bad language"... there was no out-right cussing)... there was some crude humor, but that's nothing new with the Shrek movies and there was some possible sexual innuendo but I don't really remember it in detail.

I've never read the book but I've thought about reading it sometimes... just never have gotten around to finding it in a bookstore or the library or whatever...

Whoa, cool Toy Story 3 is coming out, sucks that it's in 2009. 2 years from now, but it does take a while to make an animated movie. =P

Thank you both so much for those reviews. I found Pluggedinonline's to be much more thorough in showing what I consider offensive for children. and I saved that site.I must agree that I do not find such crude humor to be at all what I want my 5 year-old granddaughter to be exposed to.

Even if it is over her head,she tends to watch things over and over until she knows most of the dialogue,and this most certainly would not be funny or cute coming from a child! I appreciate the reviews,and thank you again.I will have my son read the Pluggedinonline one.

Spoiler: trees

What movie are the evil walking trees from? My DH says they are from the Wizard of Oz, but as I remember it (I've only seen Wizard of Oz once) the trees didn't walk around...
