The latest example of one of our Members of Parliament being ignorant and speaking about things they don't actually know about is James Lunney, Conservative MP from BC:
Stop calling evolution fact!
Now, even above and beyond the fact that he doesn't accept evolution for some reason, and he is anti-vaccination and doesn't believe in climate change, he is also engaging in what basically amounts to Twitter wars with people (his constituents) and uses horrible grammar/spelling/netspeak that is not becoming of a representative of the people.
He says he's not running for re-election, so it doesn't much matter what he says, but how do these people get elected in the first place?
