One needs to be careful here. The current owner of a violent dog may not be the case of a dog being a problem dog. Often it is a previous abuser.

I feel akin to that. We've got kids starving in other countries and going to bed hungry in the US, but we feed our pets "fancy feast". Its probably an irrational pet peeve but its mine nonetheless.
