is there a respectful way to address this post that says to this person and any other that we do not encourage the buying and selling of pets for profit? she admits she 'just adopted' this pet and is now trying to use it as a means of turning a buck so to say and put the pet back for adoption for 10k blessings. common this 'price' is outrageous, and she has laid it out there in public to encourage the buying and selling of pets for frofit. I know that between us we have an unspoken rule to not encourage this sort of behavior, but for once I just want to reply and let it out and let it be known


"WE ARE SORRY, BUT WE HERE AT PET FORUMS DISCOURAGE THE ADOPTING AND RE-RELEASING OF PETS BACK UP FOR ADOPTION FOR THE EXPRESSED REASON OF MAKING A PROFIT. WE ENCOURAGE PETS TO BE ADOPTED AND RELEASED FOR THE SUGGESTED 500 BLESSINGS OR LESS, WITH A AVERAGE REQUEST AROUND 300 BLESSINGS PER ADOPTION. ANYONE TRYING TO ADOPT AND THEN SET PETS OUT FOR ADOPTION FOR EXCESS NUMBERS OF BLESSINGS RUNS THE INHERANT RISK THAT THE PET WILL NOT BE ADOPTED BY MONTHS END, THEREFOR THE PET OWNER WILL LOOSE THE INITIAL ADOPTION FEES PAID, THE PET WILL BE DELETED, AND NO COMPENSATION FOR THE ADOPTION WILL BE GIVEN. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL THAT YOU WOULD NOT USE AN ANIMAL IRL TO MAKE A PROFIT, NOR DO WE CONDONE IT TO BE DONE HERE. EVERY PET CREATED IS TRACKED AND CARED FOR BY EITHER THE PET OWNER OR THE STAFF HERE AT PET FORUMS EVERY DAY. FOR PETS THAT ARE CREATED AS A MEANS TO BE TRADED CREATES MORE WORK ON STAFF THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL. THE PETS ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE A COMMODITY HERE, THEY ARE A SYMBOL OF AFFECTION AND LOVING CARE AS WE WOULD LOVINGLY CARE FOR A PET AT HOME.

I did respond to this post also on the thread where she posted. hopefully it is respectful and tactful to anyone reading it. rather than addressing this post with the aforementioned paragraph we can ammend this paragraph above into one of the stickies on the public forum or even have it pop up with some type of adoption information at the top of the day care either open always or when clicking the 'admit your pet' link..............or perhaps on the page for admitting your pet AND in a sticky somewhere in the public pets area?
