That violence against minorities is a good thing?

That bombing the homes of minorities should be burned?

That minority churches should be bombed?

That killing the children of minorities is a good thing?

What exactly are you not free to say?

It is OK to say those things as long as one doesn't do any of those things. Better tolerate some nut cases saying dumb things than have the government approving or disapproving speech.

When speech is up for possible governement review and the speaker is up for possible prison, then speech is not free.

If someone is saying those things you mentioned, then counter them with the truth. The truth will set your free.

Sorry but the interment of Millions of Japanese American’s was front page news when it happened

I was not able to verify this.

But I was able to verify it was far from secret, at least in California.

Which brings up the problem with trying to verify the subjective parts of history. Yes 'Front Page News' is in many ways subjective. Was it something that was in everyones face, was it talked about.

I could verify a student in High School at the time was well aware of it. But when it comes to public awareness that is about something. I really do have an excellent source, and there are few left as Mom is in her 80s. Still very sharp, sharp enough to point out that after so much time it is hard to tell when one learned of some things.

Oh and I'll bring up one other thing. The propaganda at the time was very very widespread. Moms High School yearbook had anti Japaneese cartoons in it, and I would think Hollywood High would be fairly progressive even back then.
