What about them? They're one God's creatures too.

I mean how does a bunny lay eggs, and are we really sure that it's chocolate that those eggs are made out of?![]()
At least with a cake, we are fairly certain of their ingredients and where they come from.![]()

I look forward to getting my red Easter egg (we get this because Mary Magdalene gave the Roman emporer a red egg to symbolize Christ's death and Resurrection)
You thought it was Roman soldiers? It was the Jews that handed Jesus over to the Romans. (Not the entire Jewish nation, but those that would lose their prosperity in religion). Remember that Jesus was doing away with all the traditions of religion, and this troubled those in power. Imagine someone making a living from your sins each year, only to find out that a man named Jesus was telling everyone to confess sins through the Son and not man. Those are the ones that turned Jesus over to the Romans, and therefore is why I stated Religion is what nailed Christ to the cross…QuantaCura said:Maybe I would be offended if I knew what you meantI thought it was Roman soldiers who nailed him to the Cross after He was turned over by the Jews. In the grand scheme of things it was for the sins of man. Also, the religion that Rev. was speaking of is the Christian religion--which was born from Christ and which we all believe in (otherwise we couldn't post in this forum). It is the opposite of what led to His death.

I work in a place that runs under the phillospohies of Rudolph Steiner.
I have stopped praying the grace(at work), because in the grace it gives glory to the creation rather than the creator.
I eat easter eggs at easter. I'm a chocalate fiend. However do I worship them, most definately not.
My worship goes to the King of Kings and Lord of lords, the one who reached down into the mud that was my life and picked me up out of it
