Should I buy Hitman: Contracts?

I should preface this by saying that I LOVE hitman 2. I like the patience and the payoff.
However, I've heard conflicting reports from Contracts. Specifically, can you still do every mission and get "silent assassin?" I've heard that you just gun your way thru this one and that isn't my style. I want to play for hours on end trying to figure out the perfect strategy.

I thought Contracts was a big let down, some levels were a lot of fun if you wanted them too be but all in all you could shoot your way out of every situation, the ending was bad aswell. It wasn't a bad game but it wasn't exactly worth the time either.

IMO, Contracts was not good. I would suggest renting it before buying it.

I rented it and beat it.It was good but not great.I just shot my way through most of it. Splinter Cell series is much better!
