  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think we as christians have a duty to use all the technology the world has to further  the  cause of God .             satan wants to shut us up, he does not  want the word of God to get out. I think we should use it to glorify God at every chance!

I LOVE MY E-MAIL!!!  Please, don't reply to this and say that I'm not to love things.  This was just a figure of speech.  Ok?

Through e-mail we are able to keep in touch with my in-laws who live in the mid-west (we live in the east) and also send prayer requests to other Christians when needed, and even send words of encouragement when someone needs it.  Sure a phone is good, but sometimes we might want to send the request to the prayer group from the church and calling each and every one of them, hoping they're home, is a little time consuming.

Sometimes I'll call one or two individuals, but e-mail is also a great tool to use.

why do man make it where certain things unlawful for christians? - which i think is outrageous. who makes up these laws? God, Satan, or man?
