There are plenty of nations at fairly high points that Canada possibly could make a deal with beside the USA. In fact being near the USA might be a bargaining chip for them in any potential deals! Just like the British made a deal with some natives in that day that had mutual interests. There is a lot of water and power coming from Canada to the US as well as oil and gas by the way. As the former prime minister pointed out, 'unless Trump wants to use a candle to get around Trump tower, he will drop the tariffs' or some such words.

Except there is evil on both sides. Blackmailing Canada to join or else is not delivering anyone. It is terrorism. If it were found out that they used the spy agencies to sabotage and work within Canada to achieve his goals, I think Canadians would be angry

the sick evil that I mentioned is coming from leftists on the left.... They cut off kids penises and breasts then when you point that out to them they say "But look at what Trump's doing". That's what you call the sick, evil twisted reasoning of the Satanic left. But does it though? That is a genuine question. I know that in the USA the woke agenda seems to be aligned with the Democrats, but I didn't know that other countries regarded it as specifically politically left. Isn't Russia socially conservative, and that must be about as far left as it's possible to go?

In the UK our MPs have free votes on moral issues so they are not aligned to party politics. To me the left is about more public ownership and the right about private enterprise, i.e. different economic models; nothing to do with moral issues.I thought that Canada might be the same.
