Then do not complain of the result. Those who do not participate do not have a voice in debate afterwards.

It don't matter what the result will be. There is nothing good that can come of this. I'll say whatever I want to say.

I am at a bit of a delimma here; I can't understand only 41% of Christians that wont vote for this devout Mormon for president. I certainly can't understand how a true Baptist could vote for a Mormon fpr president; and yet Franklin. Fragments; and who knows who else has no pro lemon with it. I guess you just have Jesus Christ put away somewhere; and do your thing. All comments respected.

It's absolutely and utterly crazy. These same Christians say they would never vote for a pro-abortion candidate but they will vote for a candidate who worships a god that is not Jesus Christ.

GOD help us.

I am torn on this to I don't want Obama to win again. But I don't want a Mormon president either maybe I will just pass this year. =[

And this is what a lot of conservative Christians will be doing if Romney or Newt get the nomination.

I was torn as well, however I don't believe a President's beliefs or lack of, makes too much difference in reality. It would be really nice to have a Christian Prez, but it's been so long now, I just want Obama out and unfortunately I think Romney as the best chance to defeat him. Newt would get buried!

Sure they do. If they didn't, Republicans would be supporting pro-abortion candidates, pro-homosexual right to marry candidates.

It was once kind of an issue for me too, but I'm at the point where I don't exactly care who is the Republican candidate; Obama must be stopped! NObama 2012.

We as Christians are called to be pleasing to Christ FIRST. Maintain your witness for CHRIST first and if other Christians choose to not honor Him FIRST and the country ends up with 4 more years of Obama, then perhaps the country is getting exactly what it deserves.

Christ MUST be first.

I googled : " Should a Christian vote for a Mormon for a Mormon "; and found pastor Huckabee's post that I would suggest reading.

Do tell what he has to say because Pastor Huckabee has said some odd things during this election cycle as have Franklin Graham.

Those of you insist you will not vote for Romney based on his LDS church affiliation need to ask yourselves if you are prepared to aid and abet four more years of Obama.

If Christians can't keep Christ first by supporting a candidate who supports Christ, then the United States deserves four more years of Obama.

Sure we have a voice. Just like we have a voice right now. The Republican nominee cannot win without the GOP conservative base who puts their devotion to Christ first.

No vote is as same as a vote for Obama...imho.

I personally don't like Romney, but I also think that Obama has done everything he can to show that he is not of a Christian persuasion. At least Romney has some morals. I still don't know what I am going to do, but I will vote because to not vote is not an option.

Keep Christ first. Christians have no ground to stand on for rejecting a candidate for any other reason if they will support a man who follows another god.

And what god does Obama follow? I believe (as I've obviously stated previously) that to sit out means we have no voice in the aftermath if we don't exercise that voice at the polls.

What about follows no God?

I think we need to vote for the best available candidate.

We are not electing him to be our Church leader, just basically a seat warmer with some executive privileges :)

Got me. I'm not voting for him either.

I believe (as I've obviously stated previously) that to sit out means we have no voice in the aftermath if we don't exercise that voice at the polls.

I have a voice in the beforemath and the aftermath by not voting for someone who follows another god. If the GOP loses and Obama gets another 4 years, then it is because the GOP establishment keeps pushing these flawed candidates who don't represent the core values of the party. They push the candidates who they feel have "earned" it instead of the candidate who represents the values of the party's core.

They will soon realize that without the core's support, they aren't winning any elections.

So again, if the GOP is determined to nominate a candidate who follows a god who is not Jesus Christ, then the country deserves four more years of Obama and all the havoc he will wreak.

Don't vote for that person either. Again, if the GOP puts up such a candidate, then it is time that the core show them why they will never win an election without the core's support.

I think we need to vote for the best available candidate.

Nope. As followers of Christ, we need to keep Christ first. And the best candidate will never be someone who worships a god that is not Jesus.

We are not electing him to be our Church leader, just basically a seat warmer with some executive privileges :)

Then nobody in the GOP needs to ever mention not voting for a candidate who is pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage or anything else to do with morals.

Everyone has to do what he or she feels God is leading them to do. Myself, I can't stand on the sidelines and four more years of Obama not only is unpalatable, it is irresponsible to allow him to remain in office without at least an attempt to replace him at the ballot box.

A hatred for Obama or even being scared of 4 more years of Obama are not good reasons to vote for another non-Christian. Jesus teaches us to stick with Him....have a little faith, man.

I do ... in the fact that God will bless and use Romney.

By the way, things are looking up. Reports indicate Santorum won Iowa by 34 votes, as determined in a recount.

In many countries in the world folks have no choice who has authority over them. That is by God's providence. In this country God has allowed us the right to voice our desire by our vote. Though He has already ordained who will be our next president He will do it through the means of our vote. If the Lord Jesus were running for president I would certainly vote for Him. But since He is already on the throne ruling I must vote for an imperfect man whom He controls. They are all politicians and until you find a perfect man to vote for you must vote for an imperfect one. If you don't vote you are saying that you don't care and that God should have made you a citizen of a coiuntry where you don't have that right. If you enjoy the freedoms that God has allowed you as a citizen of this country then in order to preserve them you must vote. Standing on principles is one thing but cutting off your nose to spite your face is ridiculous.
