I agree with heidi, it is possible (immigration stuff not withstanding) to plan a wedding in less than three months.
From the fashion end, I could easily dress a whole wedding - bride, multiple bridesmaids, moms and flowergirls - with their choice of brand new (not borrowed) special ordered dressed in less than two months. Your choices might be limited somewhat, but could be done. In a pinch, you could even do it in less than a month (and I have) but your choices are limited (and the price goes up) but it can still be pulled off beautifully. Whoever mentioned it being the bridesmaids dresses that tend to hold everything up in the a special ordering process, was right. As far as wedding gowns, mom's dresses and flowergirls go, you can usually find something in stock at the factory and get them to the store in less than two weeks.
