  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Has anyone gone on a short term mission trip that they would like to share with us. If you can tell us where you went. I was down in Panama helping to rebuild a church. Had a great time and learn about stuff. Stuff like how messed up my life was with things. The Thing that mattered most was having a walk with God.

I've been on two. One in February to a children's orphanage in southern Mexico- Oaxaca. We helped mix cement, lay floors, carry bricks, play with kids, puppet shows, and lead worship. Then I went to an Indian Reservation last year in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, which is one of the poorest places in the US. I learned what it is like to be a minority, not understand the language, to have fear and how to let God keep me safe, and how pure these people are in their hearts compared to most of us. They can love us and God so much that other things don't matter. They know so much happiness that most of us will never experience. It was so cool to experience!
