of how I came to Catholicism.
I was (and am being?) raised Methodist, but I changed to Agnosticism when I heard the "arguements" that prove God (which they don't, they still don't really make much sense). For the past few years I have been perfectly happy as an Agnostic. In the past few months I had felt a "spiritual pulling" to put it simply. I tried a few religions (Baha'i being one). Each one felt pretty empty. However, after going to a Mass I convinced myself that Catholicism is right. I feel God in any church I go to, but the Catholic one felt "different." More... right I guess.
That's it I guess.
But.. question: When do you make the sign of the cross besides the obvious or prescribed times? Is it normal to do it before a prayer?

That presence you felt is the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, kept in the Tabernacle.
