Anyone know where to get a well made but reasonably priced cassock and surplice? I've seen some cassocks advertised for around $100, but I don't know how well they are made. The ones at our parish for anyone to use are around $400 or so, and they all seem to be a little too short or a little too long. I'd like to have a cassock that fits properly, but I can't spend quite that much.

The only thing is, make sure that the colors and style match with the rest of the lay ministers.

You might want to ask your rector where the cassocks and surplices that the parish currently uses came from. Then go from there - you might be able to get a discount if anyone else is needing some too.

we are vestments maker .we are from India,i think most cassock priced based on fabric and labour fee..we are providing cassock and surplice for 129USD (includes free shipping to USA,UK,GERMANY,ITALY & Australia)free customization. reason for low price is that fabric, cost of living and labour price is very low (for example good polyester fabric starts sell form 3USD /meter & Gabardine fabric for 5USD in India but i heard its very costly in European country standard mid range polyester starts from 7usd only and also cost of maintaining company is too high like wages, rental etc in European countries)workmanship will be almost same as we also follow the standard cassock pattern.i have being selling cassock though eBay for 2 year so far i dint receive any negative feedback .if the shipping wasn't high we would have make the cassock even cheaper
