So apparently some people think this bes a big deal:

Not sure what the fuss bes about really. Since when did anyone believe Oprah to be a fundamentalist-flavored Christian leader in the world and therefore beholden to that one narrow slice's viewpoint of things, or a spokesperson thereof, in the first place? Since when did she ever make any such claims? Correct this one if you know of any such time, please.
It seems to Moriah that the only "Kool Aid" here bes trying to spin some conspiracy theory out of Oprah's personal spiritual journey, and that this impetus arises from her endorsement of Obama. The real suspicion of course creeping in when it becomes political, becomes about her endorsing Obama -- that bes where the spin cycle tossing hidden agendas can be heard running most clearly.
Quite frankly, it sees nothing shocking here. And to be perfectly honest it sees nothing anti-Christian in what she bes saying either. But Moriah has the universal decoder ring and can cross-translate between spiritual systems of thought. Many cannot, chief among those being the sort that make these kind of negative judgment calls and start running in circles with the chicken little routine every time a public figure explores spiritual concepts outside the narrow binary box of the most rigor-mortis'd right-wing neocon. Good GRIEF. Read Acts 17:22-34 sometime already.
