Shocking... but necessary.

I just watched a video that made it real for me.

We live in a society that uses a lot of smoke and mirrors. They spend huge amounts of money and media to distract us from a harsh reality. They are masters of spinning and renaming things so as to make things appear to be what they are not. What am I referring to... abortion. It is called "pro-choice" as if this cruel and horrible killing of an unborn child is somehow positive. They call the child a "fetus" so as to numb our conscience and make us forget we are talking about an innocent life. They call it a "procedure" to somehow make us think it is on the same level as pulling a tooth. It is not just wrong - it is evil!

I want to be very sensitive to those who have had an abortion in the past. If you have sought God's forgiveness - you are forgiven (1 John 1:9)! You of all people know the heartache that comes with this tragedy. I would ask that you not watch what I am about to invite others to view. May God continue to bless you as you rest in His grace.

Friends, I would encourage the rest of you to do something that I at first was reluctant to do. I would ask that you watch a video that has been put together to help us see why we as Christians must lovingly, yet unashamedly stand up and make a difference in this arena. And wow. That video is SO powerful. I'd be called a propagandaist but I think that video should be shown to anyone wanting an abortion. I'm not sure how someone could go through with one after seeing that.

Thanks for posting the video. It was fairly graphic, but there's a HUGE warning in the beginning and it also allows people to click to go straight to what Eduardo has to say, so that you don't have to watch all the graphic images if you don't want.

I just watched that video tonight, although from a different source. I just looked at some of the victims of homicide, and I sobbed uncontrollably for I don't know how long afterward. Saws 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 have come to life before our eyes, and we've done hardly anything to stop it.
How can words ever convey the horror of this thing? It has to be seen to be understood. You can say words like "ripped to shreds" or "brain sucked out through a vacuum", but will any of it really instill in us the reality of what's really happening, what Obama is truly and knowingly endorsing? You have to actually see it. It's a horrible, terribly hard thing to watch, and I couldn't watch all of it. I literally broke down sobbing and wailing as my mother and I held on to each other weeping in utter horror. My God, we were looking at the fresh victims of a legal homicide! What people today consider a 'right'! While before I was reluctant for the end of the world to come, now I plead to God for it so that this monstrosity can finally be ended. It's been happening, done by 'nice people' since probably quite shortly after the Fall of Man- almost six thousand years. How many lives have been taken, how many ignorant mothers destroyed by the trauma of such a thing being done with their consent?
God, please end this...

I think it's people who are claiming Christianity & voting for Obama when he's made very clear his stance on partial birth/late term abortions w/ his open voting record - and all pro-choice (ie. pro abortion) adherants who need to watch the graphicness of what this is.

It's my belief that anyone voting for "choice" without witnessing a real abortion is being a coward when they're unable to even WATCH the horrors they promote by law.

Like other groups throughout history (even recent history), they redefine the undesirables in society as something other than fully human so that they can murder with a clean conscience and no guilt.

I can understand this with atheists since they view humans as having no more innate value that an amoeba. However, in my opinion, for a Christian to be able to do this demonstrates that they have given their soul over to total reprobation.

God, keep the victims of this abomination safe in your arms and help us wake up to see the truth behind the lies that have been told to those who don't fully realize or want to know the truth. They bought into the ideal that exercising their rights and personal freedoms are more important than protecting those who cannot help themselves. I think if folks would have more fear of God and concern about what GOD thinks, theyde properly be able to discern.

Instead, people are alot more worried about how PEOPLE will think & how people feel when in most cases, it's their sin that landed them with an unwanted pregnancy. These are results of sinning against God's moral laws set for us; God set them for important reason.
But in our wisdom we've decided that we need to get rid of the consequence of sin and make it easier for people to continue.

I think on judgment day people will wish they cared more what GOD thought than worrying about people's rights to sin (ignoring that the fetus/infant had the right to live).

and that's what I call willful rejection of truth.
If they can see it, they can act on facts - instead, they point to WHO showed it to them in bias, as if we're responsible for what they see & they go after us.

We see this in Romans 1:18-32 where they supress the truth for the lie.
People like to say that people are blinded... to some extent that may be true, but the blinding imho occurs becuz they first rejected what was true to accept the lie.
God only gives them over to their chosen depravity after that point.

From then on they may very well be "blind"... but it was initially chosen by choosing the lie over the truth first.

You know, I've done some work for animal abuse prevention. The vast majority of those I've worked with in that area are very left wing, and of course pro choice. I find it both fascinating and depressing that They can see exactly what abortion is and consider it just fine, but show them a video of a farmer drowning an unwanted litter of puppies and they go ballistic. I'm all for fighting for better treatment of animals. But what about human babies? When did they become so much less important?

Absolutely! It needs to be said and put to men more often, even Christian men.
