Shining Out of Darkness

I had written this poem to express poetically the dawn of salvation in my heart.

A little background: I was a meth manufacturer and addict before Christ came into my life and transformed me powerfully. My life until that point was one of darkness, emptiness, and hopelessness. Through the reading of the book of Ephesians I received my faith and from death I was awakened to be made a partaker in His light.
